If I could ask God Anything By Kaythryn Slattery

Kaythryn Slattery has done an good job addressing many of the questions children have about Christianity. The book is divided into sections that include:The Bible, and prayer. There are also sections titled: Christian Seasons and Holidays and Big Questions. This book is both a reference to answer children’s questions. If you are christian. All the questions are answered well and backed up with verses from the Bible. I highly recommend “If I Could Ask God Anything" for christian families.

It was kind of hard reading it since I'm LDS. But its a good book for spiritual growth i think.

Mock Prom

Saturday was my first dance. It was the mock Prom! :D I was really nervous at first. It was scary dancing with all these older kids when I'm just a small little 8th grader. But I had a lot of fun. Anna made me a little shrug for my dress. :) It was very cute! And Jodi helped me with my hair. It turned out great. I love church dances now. They are not as scary as I thought they were. My mom and Anna were at Wicked while I was at the prom, but at least I took lots of picture! :D

Essentials for Life By Marcia Ford

I read this book for BookSneeze. The title for this book is “Your Back -to-Basics Guide to What Matter Most.” This book really explained what really matters the most and what we are doing in our lives now.

This book is 50 short chapters chapters such as “Learn to Forgive”. I like how it goes into the scriptures and explains. It also has some quotes from christian leaders. I read this book in a couple of days. It is a very short book but a good read. I thought it was a really good book for spiritual growth.

I think this is a great book. There were only a couple of small things that I disagreed with but nothing major. It was a good book.
