GENNY was born today at 5:30am! We love her! She is a cute little sister!

Youth Conference 2010

This was my first year at YC. I had a wonderful time!
The first night we played get to know you games and then we had a dance. I think the best part of YC were the dances. I met a bunch of new friends at the dance.

I stayed at another members home with my room mate Mary who is from my ward! yay :D
We got up the next day and did a service project. We had to go pull weeds and stuff out of some parks. Except we picked the wrong thing for like an hour. Its a good thing someone came and told us. haha After that we played games in the sun for 3 HOURS. It was really HOT out. :/
When we got back to the church we had ANOTHER dance. I was pretty tired at the end of the day.

The next day we had classes from leaders and some other people on gospel stuff. But After that we had a formal dinner and started to go into testimony WHEN the church caught on fire.
The church had recently been rewired and it was a BAD wiring job. I was in the bathroom during that time and was confused when I walked out and there was a bunch of smoke everywhere. I came out just in time and got out with everyone else. A bunch of firetrucks came out and we were on the news. It sure was an event. So we just had testimony meeting outside.

YC 2010 was awesome but not the fire part :/ :)

John Vos III 1940-2010

My Grandpa died yesterday at 2:00pm. He was in the hospital for 4 months. He is now out of pain and in a better place. He will be missed. I made this video.
